Theglassisheatedtoclosetothesofteningtemperature,andthenplacedinawindgridwithdifferentcoolingintensitiestocooltheglassunevenly,causingthemainviewingareaandperipheralareastohaveDependingonthestress,theglassissurroundedbythestrongcoldpartofthewindgrid.Thenozzleofthewindgridatthispositionisf4.5mmorlarger.Thewindpressureisadjustedtothewindpressurerequiredforfulltempering,resultinginthesurfacepressureinthisarea.Thestressislargeandthedegreeoftougheningisthesameasthatoffulltoughening.Themainviewingareaoftheglassisintheweakcoolingzoneofthewindgrid.Thenozzlediameterisaboutmediumandf3.2.Thewindpressureadjustmentisalsomuchloweratabout300mmwatercolumn.ThesurfaceformsasmallerCompressivestress,lowdegreeoftoughening,andlargefragments.
