OnJanuary24,RockefellerUniversityannouncedtheappointmentofcellbiologistPaulNurseastheuniversity’snewpresident.PaulNurseplanstotakeoverthenewpositionfull-timeinNovember.Hesaidhewillfocusondevelopingtheuniversity'sabilitytoengageinmultidisciplinaryandtranslationalresearch.PaulNursebelievesthat"RockefellerUniversityhasgreatstrength,especiallyinthefieldsofcellbiologyandneurobiology.Theuniversityhashigh-qualityresearchhospitalsthatallowresearcherstoexplorehowmagicalbiologycancreatenewtreatments."
