Memoryisoneofthemoststudiedfieldsinpsychology.Afterthemid-1950s,manypsychologistsusedtheviewpointofinformationprocessingtoexplainmemory.Accordingtothememoryprocess,fromtheinputtotheextractionofinformation,theelapsedtimeintervalisdifferent,andtheencodingmethodisdifferent.Generally,memoryisdividedintothreesystemsorthreestages,namelysensorymemory,short-termmemoryandlong-termmemory.Figure1.
