Theearliestself-adhesivewasproducedinthehandsofachemistfrom3MCompanyintheUnitedStates.Itwasin1964.Atthattime,whenhewasresearchingvariousadhesiveformulations,heformulatedanewtypeofadhesivewithgreaterviscositybutnoteasytocure.Useittopastethings,evenafteralongtimecanbeeasilypeeledoff.Atthetime,peoplethoughtthatthiskindofviscosewouldnotbeveryuseful,sotheydidn'tpaymuchattentiontoit.

Structure

Classification

Therearetwotypesofself-adhesivelabels:oneispaper-basedself-adhesivelabels,andtheotherisfilm-basedself-adhesivelabels.

1.Paper-basedself-adhesivelabelsaremainlyusedforliquidwashingproductsandpopularpersonalcareproducts;filmmaterialsaremainlyusedformediumandhigh-enddailychemicalproducts.Atpresent,thepopularpersonalcareproductsandhouseholdliquidwashingproductsonthemarketoccupyalargeproportion,sothecorrespondingpapermaterialsareusedmore.

Labelprinting

1.Hotstampingmethod
