Fromaglobalperspective,thepracticeofestablishingawebsiteontheInternettopublishonlinenewspapersbeganin1994.Bytheendof1994,atotalof78newspaperspublishedonlineVersion.By1997,thenumberofonlinenewspapershadgrowntomorethan1,900.AtthebeginningofOctober1998,thedatapublishedonthewebsiteoftheAmericanNewsReviewshowedthatthenumberofonlinenewspapersintheworldhadincreasedto4,295,andattheendof1998to4,925.Today,thedevelopmentofonlinenewspapersisadvancingbyleapsandbounds.

Stages
