4)Corrosionresistance

Thewaterflowindicatorissubjectedtothecorrosiontestaccordingtothestandard.Afterthetest,anypartofthewaterflowindicatormustnotshowcorrosiondamagesuchascracksthataffecttheperformance.Afterthetest,itshouldgothroughthe6.8sensitivitytest,andthetestresultshouldmeetthestandardrequirements.

5)Rigidnon-metallicmaterials

Aftertheairagingtest,thetestpieceshallnotbebent,creeped,crackedorotherwisedamagedthataffectsthefunctionofthewaterflowindicator.Ifthebladeismadeofpolyethylenematerialandhastheabilitytowithstandenvironmentalstresscracking,thebladeshouldbefreeofcracksafterthetest.

6)Impactresistance

Afterthree6.8Jenergyimpacts,theremustbenoloosepartsthathindertheactionofthewaterflowindicator.

Afterthetest,theshellofthewaterflowindicatorshouldbechecked.Iftheshellisbrokenanddoesnotaffecttheactionofthewaterflowindicator,itisqualified.Iftheshellisusedtopreventdustormoisture,andtheshellisbroken,thewaterflowindicatorisnotqualified.

7)Wateragingresistanceofelasticnon-metallicgaskets

Thewateragingtestofelasticnon-metallicgasketsiscarriedout,exceptforO-rings.Afterthetest,checkthegapbetweenthegasketandthefixturetoensurethatthereisnolooseness,adhesion,andbrittlenessorsoftnessofthegasket.

10)Waterimpactresistance

Thewaterimpacttestiscarriedoutaccordingtothestandard,anditshouldberesetquicklyafterbeingimpactedbywater.Andasensitivitytestshouldbecarriedoutafterthetest,andthetestresultshouldmeetthestandardrequirements.

11)Waterpressureresistance

Under2.4MPawaterpressurefor5minutes,theremustbenocracks,leakage,permanentdeformationordamage.

12)Overloadcapacity

Whenthewaterflowindicatoristestedinaccordancewiththestandard,itscomponentsmustnotbeburntduetooverheating,pits,orcontactbonding.

13)Withstandvoltagecapabilityandinsulationresistance

(1)Thewaterflowindicatorshallbetestedforthewithstandvoltagecapabilityaccordingtothestandard.Underthespecifiedtestvoltage,betweenthefollowingpartsWithstandvoltage60s±5swithoutbeingbrokendown.

5.Keypointsofconstructionandinstallation

2)Itshouldbeinstalledhorizontally,andtheinclinationshouldnotbetoolargetoensurethatthebladesaresensitive.Thereshouldbestraightpipeswith5timesthelengthoftheinstallationpipediameterbeforeandafterthewaterflowindicator.Payattentiontothewaterflowdirectionandindicatorwheninstalling.Thearrowsareconsistent.

3)Thesignalvalveshouldbeinstalledonthepipelinebeforethewaterflowindicator,andthedistancefromthewaterflowindicatorshouldnotbelessthan300mm.

4)Thewaterflowindicatorissuitableforinstallationonpipeswithadiameterof50-150mm.
